but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

A life lived with hope in the Lord is one marked by strength and endurance. When our hope is secure in the Lord we are able to see our life from an eagles perspective and recognize the temporary as minor and the eternal as important.

Our hope also empowers us as we trust in the Lord in every situation. Let’s live lives marked by strength and endurance as we secure our hope in the Lord.

Philippians 4:6-7Philippians 4:6-7

6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Prayer is our anchor that secures the peace of God in our lives.  We  are able to rise above the circumstances of life through trusting thankfulness with the Lord’s peace guarding our hearts and minds.

Anxiousness is a weight that pulls us away from the amazing peace of God.  Let’s remember to stay anchored in prayer through ALL the circumstances of life and rise above!
