Reflections of a Resurrected Heart

Hints of Spring is in the air.

As the birds begin to return may the song they sing remind you that the celebration of Easter, resurrection Sunday will soon be here.

Nature has begun it’s preparation for the change of season. Is there a way that you prepare for the change of season and for celebrating Easter?

Spring cleaning may have come to mind or the practice of Lent and the stages of the cross just to name a few.

I want to invite you to join me for a new series I am doing “Reflections of a Resurrected Heart”. The series is a little bit of Spring cleaning for our spiritual heart based off of Robert Boyd Munger’s booklet “My Heart- Christ’s Home”. I hope you will join me as we weekly reflect on seven different rooms within our heart home for Christ as preparation for celebrating Easter.

I’m inviting you to join the more interactive experience through my Social Media accounts. For those looking for more meaningful encouragement and connection on the journey I will be doing a private Facebook Group(link below).

WP-Bible plugin reminds us that we are to think on things that are pure, noble, right, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. Our success at achieving this “think on such things” standard is directly effected by the materials we have in the study of our heart.

Our reflection question ask us to honestly evaluate what is influencing our thought life and clean out the study of our heart.

Our thought life is directly and indirectly influenced by all things found in “the study” of our heart and mind. What will we find if we take inventory with Jesus the King of our heart, by our side? Will we find books, apps, music, thought patterns, pictures, magazines, shows, or websites that we will be asked to surrender to the truth of Jesus? My prayer is we will release the power of Christ in our hearts so he will overtake any untruthful and untrustworthy influences in our hearts and minds.
