“but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Do you have hope? Lives lived without hope are marked by weariness. The first sign of weakening hope is an attitude shift. Life naturally has it’s ups and it’s downs. The more downs we experience the more we need to remain anchored in hope.
What is your hope anchored in? When our hope is secure in the Lord we are strengthened with a victory mindset that fuels our attitude so we SOAR with God’s perspective of who we are to Him, in Him, and through His redemptive power.
I say hope fuels our attitude because our daily attitude is our choice. When we have hope and trust in the Lord our attitude will SOAR. What do I mean by SOAR; Surrender in Obedience with an Attitude of Release.
Have you ever seen a bird fly clutching onto its young, nest building materials, or its next meal? No, when we see a eagle soaring they are burden free with their wings stretched out to full capacity to allow the air to carry them. The Lord desires to be the wind that carries us through the ups and downs of life. He has designed us to be strengthened by Him to SOAR, run, and walk with Him through life. Hope in Jesus is the first step for us to experience His strength followed closely by trust so we can release the burdens of life that weigh us down.
A life lived with hope in the Lord is one marked by strength and endurance. When our hope is secure in the Lord we are able to see our life from an eagles perspective and recognize the temporary as minor and the eternal as important.
Our hope also empowers us as we trust in the Lord in every situation. Let’s live lives marked by strength and endurance as we secure our hope in the Lord and SOAR.
