“A discerning person keeps wisdom in view, but a fool’s eyes wander to the ends of the earth.”

How do we know if we are keeping wisdom in view?  Am I the only one who has difficulties staying focused? It isn’t easy to keep wisdom at the center of my attention.  Honestly, I struggle to stay focused on a regular basis but does that make me a fool?

I don’t think so.  I think this proverb is probing us to be discerning and activate our wisdom detection sensors to help keep us from falling into traps.  Similar to the newer cars that have the sensors that warn drivers when they are drifting from their lane or getting too close to other vehicles or objects.  The last rental I drove even informed me when the car in front of me had moved forward.

What program level do you have your wisdom detection sensor on to keep you on the path of righteousness?

Does the system need an upgrade?

Keep wisdom in view— don’t get lost wandering!
