One more week until Christmas.
I hope this finds you full of love and joy!
“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. Later the others also came. “Lord, Lord,” they said, “open the door for us!” But he replied, “Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.” Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”
When it’s storm season are you prepared for a pending emergency? Do you have the emergency supplies and kit on hand and ready before the season starts? Or are you one of the last minute shoppers picking up batteries, water, food, and filling up with gas? I have been on both ends of the spectrum depending where we are living and what type of storm we could experience. I must say that when I have been one of the last minute shoppers it was a little nerving to be away from the security of my home as the storm began to hit.
This weeks verse is a reminder to be ready and to keep our power levels high. I know I don’t want to miss out on any opportunity to serve the Lord because my power level is low. How about you?
Staying in His Word keeps us powered up and ready for any pending storm and opportunity to serve.
Let your light shine brightly this Christmas Season!
