My free announcement is that Today January 8th I’m celebrating my freedom day.  What do I mean?  This is the anniversary of the day I choose to finally believe Galatians 5:1 and Romans 8:1-2 and put Romans 8:14-17 into action.  I really enjoyed sharing more details about how these verses remind us to but our belief and faith into action.   By faith I stand firm.  For I am free from the yoke of the past, law of sin, and condemnation.   I am free to live for Christ, to thrive as the child of the King that I am,  and to live by the power of the Spirit of Christ in me.  So, YES today is all about FREE!   That sums up my big announcement

Today is the celebration of choosing to walk in freedom with Christ Jesus!

Do you want to hear more about the day I choose to believe?  You can read it yourself in “Royal Reflections” week 3.   Get your copy today and join the January Study Group on facebook with me.       Sign Up

In case you don’t have your Bibles handy below are the verses that I referred to earlier.

Galatians 5:1

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.

Stand firm, then, and

do not let yourselves be burdened

again by the yoke of slavery.”

Romans 8 : 1-2

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation

for those who are in Christ Jesus,

because through Christ Jesus

the law of the Spirit who gives life

has set you free from

the law of sin and death.”

Romans 8: 14-17

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.  The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.  And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”  The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.  Now if we are children, then we are heir—- if GId and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.”

Continue to celebrate the freedom we are given in Christ and the indwelling of his Spirit.  As we just said good-bye to 2018 let’s make sure we leave the burdens of our year gone by where they belong, at the foot of the cross.  Stand firm in your freedom “from the yoke of the past, law of sin, and condemnation.”  And stand firm in your freedom “to live for Christ, to thrive as the child of the King that I am,  and to live by the power of the Spirit of Christ in me.”

Be Alert~ Stay Strong~ Pray Always

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do,

and he will establish your plans.”
